The primary purpose of the Schedule is to ensure all information about your tax return is available to the police at the time they come to arrest you. Why isn't the Schedule required? While the police may be required to take you before a Court in order to gain access to more detailed information on your tax return than that found in Schedule J, they have a duty to obtain the information before they arrest you. The same legal principles which allow them to obtain less information from you before they seek to arrest you (for the purposes of a search warrant) apply to Schedule J. Do I have a duty to provide information? If you have any of the income listed on the Schedule, you have a duty to: inform the police if you are not in a police station, provide them with a post-production order from a Magistrate (if it is not in writing), provide the information within 48 hours of the police arresting you on the charge of the offense or If you are not in a police station, post the information to a Police National Data Repository, such as the Australian Federal Police's (AFP's) Web and Electronic Storage Service (LESS) and/or IBIS. Who should complete Schedule J (1041 form) 2014?
The Government of Alberta has not issued a letter of recommendation letter to each individual who will complete Schedule J and who may be considered for Employment Insurance benefits.
